Apply for the Hussman School's Sports Communication Certificate program by Wednesday, Jan. 31. The 12 students admitted will be given priority for a seat in the MEJO 376, 377 and 476 courses.
To apply, give Professor John Sweeney in 235 Carroll Hall a copy of your resume and a one-page (maximum length), typed statement on why you wish to be admitted. Your reasons can be career-oriented or simply intellectual curiosity.
Please staple a cover sheet on your application with your name, expected graduation date, major and GPA.
The names of admitted students will be posted in the Student Services area and on the 235 Carroll Hall door on Friday, Feb. 16, at noon.
Students not admitted are still welcome to take the sports communication courses. They can also complete the certificate program. The formal admission simply gives students priority getting into the classes.
