The R.B. House Undergraduate Library welcomes you to join for the Fall 2018 SkillfUL technology workshop lineup. Registration is required. General computer skills are required, but you do not need specialized prior knowledge.

    • This workshop is a collaboration between SkillfUL and BeAM.
    • PREREQUISITES FOR THIS WORKSHOP:
      1. You must attend a BeAM orientation before this workshop. Check the BeAM schedule and attend an orientation at Murray or Hanes.
      2. You must download and install Adobe Illustrator on your laptop before the workshop. Request Adobe through UNC ITS.

    • We will presume attendees have a basic knowledge of WordPress for this workshop. If you’ve never used WordPress before, we recommend attending our intro class on September 19th

Some locations will vary and BEAM workshops require BEAM orientation prior to registration.

The Hussman School hosts "Meet the Pro" networking sessions to help connect students with professionals in a more personal way. Students can sign up for a 20-minute time slot to meet the professional in Carroll Hall, chat, ask questions and receive advice.

CBS 17 News Director Ed Trauschke and Assistant News Director Jason Stevens will represent CBS 17 at this Meet the Pros session. Trauschke has a reporting background and 15 years of experience across the country. Stevens comes from a producing background, and has been the news director at three different broadcast stations. 

 

This information session will not not require an appointment.
