Join the Royster Society of Fellows as they host the first of a two-part panel discussion on Sept. 29, 2021, about shared governance and academic freedom in the United States with a group of panelists that includes Associate Professor Deen Freelon of UNC Hussman.

The second session, to be held on Oct. 13, 2021, will address the current pressures faced on the UNC campus and other public institutions in the United States with an eye toward solutions. Details forthcoming.

"MEJO 447: Media in the United Kingom" is a spring semester course looking at the media landscape in the UK. Over Spring Break 2021, students in the course will travel to London to engage with and learn from communication and media professionals in news and strategic communication companies. Enrollment in this course is capped at 14 students.
