October 6, 2022, 3:00 PM
Freedom Forum Conference Center, Carroll Hall

Nancy Leong is a Professor of Law & William M. Beaney Memorial Research Chair at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. She will be discussing her new book, "Identity Capitalists: The Powerful Insiders Who Exploit Diversity to Maintain Inequality," which argues that the U.S. preoccupation with diversity has allowed powerful people to eke out social and economic value from people of color, women, LGBTQ+ people, the poor and other outgroups.

This event is part of CITAP's Fall Speaker Series, which is focusing on identity, inequality and institutions.

The event will take place in person and will also be livestreamed and available for later viewing.

Registration and livestream links forthcoming.
