January 12, 2023, 12:00 PM ONLINE On Jan. 12, 2023, the Center for Innovation and Sustainability in Local Media will host two virtual roundtables with the NC Local News Workshop next week related to last month’s release of the Diversity Audit for NC Newsrooms. At noon, there will be a discussion about the findings and recommendations from the audit. This is aimed at NC-based journalists and others with interest in journalism in the state. At 1 p.m., there will be a discussion on the report’s approach and methodology.
