Carolina Inn

The NC Media & Journalism Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will take place at The Carolina Inn. Robert J. Brown, David Crabtree, Curry Kirkpatrick, JJ Miller, Janet Northen and Kenny Smith will be honored this year in recognition of their achievements and influence across their respective fields of media and journalism.

Gala & Dinner – 7 p.m. (Hill Ballroom)

EVENT PARKING:

Parking for the gala is available at the Carolina Inn, with additional parking provided in an overflow lot across the street  — the Nash Lot.  A parking attendant will staff the parking lot, beginning at 5 p.m. Please tell them you are attending the Hall of Fame gala when you arrive.

The NC Media & Journalism Hall of Fame recognizes diverse individuals with ties to the state who have had a significant impact on the professions and the communities they serve. The honor is awarded to people at any stage of their careers who demonstrate leadership in their spheres of influence; service to the professions and society; and performance that meets the highest professional standards. Honorees are also people who inspire and advance others in media and journalism careers.
