Students will pitch their stories to professional media outlets throughout the state and will be in Tokyo for the duration of the Games. Students might also concurrently work on stories about a university educational initiative in Tokyo not tied to the Olympics.
The course is restricted to students in the Hussman School and preference will be given to students with at least one semester left at UNC-Chapel Hill after the program.
Information sessions will be held on Monday, December 9 at 2 p.m. and Tuesday, January 14 at 4 p.m.
Apply for the course by Jan. 20, 2020.
