The Dallas Morning News offers paid internships in news, copy editing, business, features, sports and digital design/data. Internships are also available in photography at the Washington, D.C., bureau and at its Spanish-language publication, Al Día. Most internships take place during the summer, however, the sports internship occurs during the fall, generally starting around Labor Day. Students will also interact with students and faculty at City University London in an effort to expand their global perspectives about the complexities of communication messages and strategies. Enrollment in this course is capped at 14 students. The course is restricted to majors in the Hussman School, with preference given to juniors and seniors.
