Info Session: "MEJO 390: Tokyo Olympics" (Summer 2020)
Repeats every month on the 14 of January until Tue Jan 14 2020. December 9, 2019 (All day) Freedom Forum Conference Center Students in this MEJO program will be working on stories about athletes with ties to North Carolina who are competing in the 2020 Olympic Games. Students will pitch their stories to professional media outlets throughout the state and will be in Tokyo for the duration of the Games. Students might also concurrently work on stories about a university educational initiative in Tokyo not tied to the Olympics. The course is restricted to students in the Hussman School and preference will be given to students with at least one semester left at UNC-Chapel Hill after the program. Information sessions will be held on Monday, December 9 at 2 p.m. and Tuesday, January 14 at 4 p.m. Apply for the course by Jan. 20, 2020.
