Applications for 2024 camp are now open.

Rising high school juniors and seniors with an interest in sports and media are encouraged to apply to the Carolina Sports Journalism Camp. This three-day residential camp includes instructional sessions in sports broadcasting, sports writing, sports videography and much more. Students will be housed on UNC-Chapel Hill’s campus.

The Carolina Sports Journalism Camp also includes classroom study and practice in the field and will feature sports reporters and sports personalities. Students take a behind-the-scenes tour of UNC’s sports media facilities. They cover a press conference, write a sports feature story and experience what it's like to work on a sports media deadline.

June 26-28: Carolina Sports Journalism Camp on UNC-Chapel Hill’s campus
