Mike MacMillan spent more than 30 years in the public relations industry in New York City. His career highlights include the introduction of the first computerized scoring system for use by the Road Runners Club of America in the New York City Marathon and managing media relations for the 100th anniversary of the Dow Jones Industrial Index.

He founded MacMillan Communications, an award-winning financial services public relations firm, in 1996. Since then, the agency has been responsible for helping to launch hundreds of new financial products that have collectively gathered more than $75 billion in assets.
