The UNC School of Media and Journalism is seeking an Accounting Manager to work closely with the School of Media and Journalism Foundation, Inc., the School’s Development Office and Business Office accounting staff to support the increasingly complex accounting and reporting needs of the Foundation and school.

Alumnus Stefan Prelog '96 (M.A.) is currently a senior vice president at Rubenstein in New York City where he develops communications and brand building programs for leading alternative investment managers, private equity firms, real estate investment trusts, investment banks and public companies using strategic public relations and digital media solutions.

UNC Chapel-Hill has awarded UNC School of Media and Journalism Associate Professor Spencer Barnes a 2019 Tanner Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching.

Alumna Leah Ashburn '92 is a second-generation family owner of Highland Brewing Company and serves as its CEO and president. Highland is the largest brewery native to North Carolina, the largest family-owned brewery in the Southeast and Asheville’s first brewery since Prohibition.
