It may seem counterintuitive, but if your job is going well and you love doing it, now might be the time to apply to the UNC School of Media and Journalism’s M.A. in Digital Communication program. The online program is designed to let ambitious students maintain work and family responsibilities while refining media, communications and leadership skills. MJ-school graduate Danielle Passingham ’14 (M.A.) is a case in point.

“If you can dream it up,” Dana McMahan said, “we’re going to figure out how to build it.”

Winners of the case study competition will receive a $22,500 prize and a trip to the Patagonia headquarters in Ventura, California. Patagonia also aims to implement the winning proposal as part of their business strategy and the case itself will be used as teaching material in classrooms throughout the world.

UNC School of Media and Journalism seniors Barbrianna Adams '18 and Jackie Swan '18 and alumna Laura Gamo '16 will participate in the 4A’s prestigious Multicultural Advertising Intern Program (MAIP).
