Special Funding Resources

The entire UNC Hussman community is aware of the challenges our students face during the pandemic.

The Office of Scholarships and Student Aid’s COVID-19 Financial Assistance page has special funding for students during the pandemic. Visit their webpage here for more information on CARES funding and other aid related to COVID-19. If you have unique financial needs that aren’t addressed on this page, email the Office of Scholarships and Student Aid at aidinfo@unc.edu and explain your situation and request assistance.

In addition, the John B. Adams Emergency Fund assists Hussman students in need around their professional work, such as a webcam or a hotspot to boost internet capability. At this time, there is a limit of $500 per request. Please email hussmanfunding@unc.edu for more information or for assistance in navigating funding opportunities at Carolina.
