Reporting on UNC in a Time of Controversy and Change
Investigative journalist Joe Killian will meet with students April 22, 2022, at 10 a.m. as part of the “Holding Power Accountable” lecture series — a series examining the people and organizations holding power in society .
Killian, who has worked with NC Policy Watch since 2016, has consistently broken news about politically charged controversies at UNC. A former government and politics reporter for the News & Record in Greensboro, North Carolina, Killian is an expert on researching stories, cultivating sources and prying information from reluctant institutions.
This will be an in-person talk as well as livestreamed via Zoom.
