C-SPAN’s 2016 campaign bus to make stop on UNC campus Tuesday, Nov. 1

C-SPAN’s 45-foot customized campaign 2016 bus will visit the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill on Tuesday, Nov. 1, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. as part of its “Road to the White House” tour.

Time Warner Cable’s Director of Government and Community Affairs Erin Jones partnered with C-SPAN to bring the bus to the UNC campus.

The bus — which will be located in front of the Student Union along South Road — visits schools, universities and political events across the country to engage students, educators, civic leaders and the community through on-board multimedia technology that showcases C-SPAN resources dedicated to showing the American political process.

It features interactive exhibits about C-SPAN’s in-depth coverage of Congress, the White House, federal courts and its signature political program, “Road to the White House.”

C-SPAN representatives will gather the thoughts of visitors on this year’s election to share via social media with the hashtag #CSPANvoices.
