Jake Stallard

Jake Stallard serves as director of accreditation, assessment and program review at the UNC Hussman School of Journalism and Media. Jake comes to UNC Hussman from the UNC Adams School of Dentistry, where he served in academic affairs as the director of the Academic Support Center. His other professional experience at Carolina includes roles at the Kenan-Flagler Business School (where he also earned an MBA) and the Gillings School of Global Public Health. Prior to working in academia, Jake was a senior manager of business analytics, merchandising operations and strategy for Walmart. He spent his early career in K-12 education, teaching children with behavior disorders in Metro Nashville Public Schools.
