On These Banks: Carolina Photojournalism Workshop 2026
Since 2004, Carolina Photojournalism Workshop has provided students with an immersive experience to produce films that capture life around the Carolinas. Students work alongside Professor Pat Davison and coaches who currently work professionally in the field. In May 2026, nine UNC Chapel Hill students spent a week on North Carolina’s Outer Banks, each producing an independent documentary that captures a different aspect of the region. Their work culminated in a multimedia website “On These Banks.”
