These drop-ins are first-come, first-served and are intended for UNC Hussman students with a question that can be addressed in 10 minutes or less.
Submit your resume for specific feedback and critiques from UNC Hussman Career Services. No appointment necessary. This is a one-time service, and students are encouraged to make an appointment on Handshake to discuss comments further.

Finding an internship takes work. That’s why we created Hussman Internship Jumpstart for students. Here you will find a listing of potential internships. This is a listing of ALL the internships we have advertised in the past year. This is NOT a listing of all internships with openings. If you have further questions on your search, make an appointment with us.
Students with internships may enroll in “MEJO 393: Journalism and Media Internship,” UNC Hussman’s internship-for-credit course. Handshake is an online platform UNC-CH students use for internship and job searches. As a UNC student you have access to the platform with your ONYEN. The platform will work best the more completed you have your profile. You can set parameters within the platform to help you search for on-campus work, internships and jobs.
While Handshake is a great tool, Hussman Careers teaches quality over quantity when searching for work and internships. Please avoid the urge to mass apply.
UNC Hussman students learn to be storytellers. The art of storytelling is in EVERY industry.
