Talk on confidentiality, disclosure

The UNC Hussman School of Journalism and Media is hosting a visit at 10 a.m. on Monday, April 20, from attorney and author Ronald Goldfarb, who has a new book out called "In Confidence: When to Protect Secrecy and When to Require Disclosure."

Goldfarb's talk will be in the Freedom Forum Conference Center on the third floor of Carroll Hall. The event is free and open to the public. All are welcome.

Goldfarb's book is organized around professionals for whom confidentiality is a major issue - government officials, attorneys, medical personnel, psychotherapists, clergy, business people and journalists. His analysis reveals how federal government practices and technological capabilities  are challenging the boundaries of privacy, and his insights open up meaningful new debate.

Goldfarb is a Washington, D.C. attorney, author, and literary agent. He is listed in Who's Who In the United States, Who's Who In Law, and other listings of prominent Americans, writers and scholars.
