UNC Hussman Career Peers

Career Peers are undergraduate students who work directly with UNC Hussman Career Services to provide career assistance to other undergraduate students. Career Peers provide support on resumes, cover letters, LinkedIn profiles, portfolio sites and job/internship searches. Career Peers also assist in programming various student-focused events.

Mentorship Program

 

Career Treks

 

Internships for credit

The Mentorship Program supports the professional growth of students and allows alumni to help develop UNC's next generation of media and journalism industry leaders. 

 

During the fall and spring semesters, selected students participate in Career Treks across the United States and industry areas to learn from alumni and make connections in their career fields. 

 

"MEJO 393: Mass Communication Practicum" is a 1-credit hour, pass/fail, internship-for-credit course offered in the fall and spring semesters and the second session of summer school.
