The Center for Innovation and Sustainability in Local Media (CISLM) will co-host the Local News Researchers Workshop in Carroll Hall on Thursday, Feb. 16, and Friday, Feb. 17. The workshop, in partnership with Duke’s DeWitt Wallace Center for Media & Democracy, and supported by the Democracy Fund, will be held in the Freedom Forum Conference Center.

Top researchers from the industry and academia, including CISLM Research Director Jessica Mahone, will be talking about their work, looking for ways to collaborate and thinking about an agenda for local news research moving ahead.
