Description
Awarded to students in the school who are engaged in international credit-bearing academic opportunities related to media and journalism. Applicants must be employed and earning their own funds to support their education. The donor prefers that the selected students exhibit drive, initiative and a curiosity about the world.
Established by Erika and Randall Canady, the award is designed to enrich the lives of students by supporting their international travel for academic purposes. Erika is a 1993 graduate of the school and travelled to Mexico and Cuba as part of a class taught by Dean Emeritus Richard Cole.
