NC Media & Journalism Hall of Fame publicist Jules Dixon has thirty years of industry experience in celebrity public relations, sports marketing, integrated communications, social media, advertising, crisis communications and diversity/inclusion strategy. She has also held senior communications leadership positions for major global brands.
Before coming to UNC Hussman, Dixon lectured at Howard University, the University of Maryland and guest lectured for over 400 students at top historically Black colleges and universities.
Since June of 2019, she has been a member of the UNC Hussman Board of Advisers. She also served as a Barry Saunders Visiting Professional at UNC Hussman in 2019.
Dixon has received MEA Magazine’s “Top 25 Women in Business” award among numerous top-tier industry awards. In 2021, she was named on the prestigious list of “28 Powerful Black Leaders in Marketing and Media."
