WaPo Labs comes to Carolina's J-school Feb. 27 (3 p.m. open session)

WaPo LabsThe Washington Post research and design team, known as WaPo Labs and the creators of Trove and Social Reader, will visit the UNC Hussman School of Journalism and Media on Monday, Feb. 27.

The team will speak will classes and meet with students throughout the day about WaPo Labs products and the future of media. They will hold an open session at 3 p.m. in the Carroll Hall auditorium (Carroll 111) to discuss the changing media landscape and the innovative work from WaPo Labs. The editors and technologists are looking for feedback, insights and ideas on their current and future projects.

Presenters will include editor Greg Barber, assistant editor Emily Schwartz and lead technologist Charles Covey-Brandt.
