Overview

The UNC School of Law and School of Media and Journalism offer two dual degree programs that provide courses of study for students interested in pursuing graduate studies in law, media and communication.  One dual degree program offers the opportunity to earn a law degree (J.D.) and master's degree (M.A.) in media and communication (J.D./M.A.).  The other dual degree program offers the opportunity to earn a J.D. and a doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in media and communication (J.D./Ph.D.).

Register below for this info session to learn more from faculty and administrators from the UNC School of Law and UNC Hussman School of Journalism and Media, along with dual degree students. You may attend the session in person in the Curtis Media Center (pizza provided!) or online via Zoom.

Note: We will also host a session specifically for UNC School of Law students Oct. 11 at noon. 1L and 2L students interested in joining a dual degree program in partnership with UNC Hussman should attend that session.
