Class of 2016-2017 starts fall classes

The M.A. in Technology and Communication welcomed its fourth cohort of students with orientation Aug. 11-12. While on campus, students got to know each other as well as MATC faculty, administrators and alumni. A panel of MATC alumni shared how they dealt with home/work responsibilities during the program, which served as great preparation for starting graduate school. MATC students began online coursework Aug. 19.

“The MATC orientation truly eased my apprehensions about returning to school after a five-year hiatus,” said student Kelsey Seidler. “The comprehensive program schedule covered plenty of valuable information, from course expectations to technology usage and everything in between. I especially enjoyed the opportunity to connect with the faculty, the administrative team, and my cohort. I must say, the class of 2017 seems pretty fantastic! I feel thoroughly prepared and eager to start classes.”
