Lisa Stockman has more than 25 years of communications experience in ethical pharmaceuticals for clients including AbbVie, Amgen, Bayer, Boehringer Ingelheim, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Genentech, GlaxoSmithKline, Johnson & Johnson, Merck, Novartis, Novo Nordisk, Pfizer and Roche as well as consumer goods companies including Coca-Cola.

Stockman specializes in developing innovative solutions for clients and cultivating strategic alliances with key stakeholders. She has partnered with many companies on corporate communications and reputation management, and consults with C-suite executives across sectors. She led efforts in support of Pfizer’s neuroscience franchise including Zoloft, Geodon and Xanax. Her work on Zoloft included a number of disease awareness campaigns including “Why Live with Depression?” with Lorraine Bracco. She also managed the agency’s work on Abilify for BMS and Otsuka. More recently, she worked with Sunovion in support of Latuda for schizophrenia and biopolar depression.

Work on these brands included messaging/posiitoning, stakeholder engagement, KOL/patient outreach, and data/regulatory communications.

Her launch experience also includes: Viagra (Pfizer), the first treatment for erectile dysfunction; Celebrex (Searle/Pfizer), the first COX-2 inhibitor therapy for osteoarthritis; Victrelis (Merck), the first new treatment for hepatitis C in a decade; Boniva (Roche/GSK), the first once-monthly osteoporosis medicine.

In addition, she has worked extensively in global issues management, counseling clients on HIV transmission through hemophilia products, pricing for a clot-busting drug for heart attacks, animal-to-human transfer of antibiotic resistance and safety of calcium channel blockers.

She was a founding member of the inVentiv Health PR Group in 1995. She graduated magna cum laude from the UNC Hussman School of Journalism and Media. In 2013, she earned a master’s degree in technology and communication via the school’s innovative online program in digital media. PharmaVoice named her to the list of the 100 most inspiring people in 2016. The Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association named Lisa a “Rising Star” in 2005 and a “Luminary” in 2014, an acknowledgment of her continued career success. She was also awarded the inVentiv Health “Circle of Excellence” designation in 2009.
