Three students selected as Dow Jones News Fund interns

Three UNC Hussman School of Journalism and Media students have been selected for editing internships through the Dow Jones News Fund.

Each year, the prestigious program offers about 90 summer internships at newspapers and news websites throughout the country. Selected students receive a paid internship, a $1,000 scholarship and training at an "editing bootcamp."

Here are the winners from the school and their destinations for summer 2014:

  • Sarah Brown, Philadelphia Inquirer
  • Meredith Hamrick, San Luis Obispo (Calif.) Tribune
  • Kaitlin Jansen, Richmond (Va.) Times-Dispatch
