Naeemah Clark, Elon - Keynote Address

Dr. Naeemah Clark is an associate professor in Elon University’s School of Communications. Dr. Clark is especially interested in studying and teaching about economic, programming and diversity issues related to the media and entertainment industries. She has edited the book African Americans in the History of U.S. Media, co-authored the Diversity in US Media textbook and interviewed with well-known programs such as Huffington Post Live and The State of Things. In the local community, Dr. Clark can be found acting as a member of Elon’s LGBTQIA Task Force, Inclusive Community Council and General Studies Council, and also representing the Women’s Resource Center of Alamance County as a board member.

Holly Millet, Capstrat - Women in PR

Holly Millet is currently a Social Media Account Coordinator at Capstrat in Raleigh, North Carolina. Millet graduated from James Madison University in 2015. During her time at James Madison, Millet was active in the JMU Feminist Collective. She will be speaking on the Women in PR panel.

Lindsay Priester, Rountree Communications - Women in PR

Lindsay Priester is currently the Senior Manager of Client Relations at Rick Rountree Communications in the Raleigh-Durham area. Previously, Priester has worked at Bolt Public Relations and is involved in the Raleigh Public Relations Society. She will be speaking on the Women in PR panel.

Valerie Fields, UNC-Chapel Hill - Women in PR

Valerie Fields founded V.K. Fields & Co., an award-winning PR agency in Raleigh and received the Triangle Business Journal's "Women in Business," "Excellence in Mentoring," and "40 Under 40" awards. She will be speaking on the Women in PR panel.

Denise Hill, Elon University - Women in PR

Denise Hill has had 32 years of corporate and agency public relations experience, including roles at Delhaize America, Quest Diagnostics, and Cigna. She was also recently named to APCO Worldwide's International Advisory Council in a consulting role. She will be speaking on the Women in PR panel.

Joe Cabosky, UNC-Chapel Hill - Entertainment PR

Joe Cabosky is an Assistant Professor on the Professional Track of the Public Relations sequence at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. His creative work and research primarily focuses PR measurement, evaluation, assessment and data analytics. He is particularly interested in the field's ability to better appreciate data that accounts for the diversity and uniqueness of various publics. He obtained his PhD at UNC Chapel Hill and a J.D. from Michigan State University College of Law. His professional background is in media development and strategic communication.

Josh Young, Capstrat - LGBT and PR

Josh Young is an Account Coordinator at Capstrat in Raleigh, North Carolina. Young has been published in GQ and Vogue Italia and was previously at L’Oréal in Milan and Manhattan. He will be leading a breakout session on LGBT and PR.

Katelyn Dramis, Nebo Agency - Digital Marketing

Katelyn graduated from the University of Georgia's Grady College with a degree in Journalism. An Atlantan at heart, she then moved back to the city to pursue her love of writing and creative thinking. As a member of Nebo’s copywriting team, she works on content creation, messaging and strategy development, and social media marketing.

When not writing or geeking out over new content opportunities, Katelyn can be found rereading Harry Potter, hitting the gym, or keeping the peace between her hyper puppy and sassy cat.

Kelly Williamson, APCO Worldwide

Kelly Williamson is currently the Managing Director at APCO Worldwide in the Raleigh-Durham area. Williamson is an accomplished leader in the PR world, with over 15 years of experience at APCO.

Stephanie Llorente, Prep Communications - Testing the Waters

Stephanie Llorente, APR, is the Owner/Consultant at Prep Communications in Raleigh-Durham. Prior to owning her own consultancy, she has done agency work at Capstrat and worked in corporate communications at Butterball. She will be leading a breakout session, "Testing the Waters," which will discuss Stephanie's transition from agency to corporate, to self-owned and the diversity she faced in the process.
