Chuck Stone Program for Diversity to be held July 19-25

Aspiring high school-aged journalists are encouraged to apply for the Chuck Stone Program for Diversity in Education and Media, a  one-week high school diversity workshop July 19-25 at UNC. The Hussman School of Journalism and Media sponsors this program which honors the legacy of Professor Chuck Stone. For application information, visit jomc.unc.edu/stoneprogram. Priority deadline is June 1.

The Chuck Stone Program allows students to experience UNC campus life and to become acquainted with the J-school. Six of the 20 students who attended the 2007 inaugural Chuck Stone Program returned during the fall 2008 semester as fellow Tar Heels.
