PhotoNight XXXVI with Vicki Cronis

PhotoNightThe UNC-Chapel Hill student chapter of the National Press Photographers Association present PhotoNight XXXVI with Vicki Cronis, staff photographer for The Virginian-Pilot. The event is Tuesday, March 27, in Carroll Hall room 33. The presentation starts promptly at 7:30 p.m. and finishes at 9 p.m. Doors will open at 7:00 p.m. and light refreshments will be available. Portfolio reviews will be available after 9 p.m.
Cronis has been a staffer with The Virginian-Pilot for almost 11 years, after completing coursework towards a masters degree. She has a BFA from Shepherd College in West Virginia, where she focused on various art mediums, including photography. After graduation, she worked several years at the Delaware State News before pursuing her master's degree. Since joining The Virginian-Pilot in 1996, she has been Virginia Photographer of the Year, won several POYs, and thoroughly enjoyed working with a talented staff. She lives in Virginia Beach with her husband, two stepchildren, and a variety of animals.
