Young Cuban men use payphones in the Regla municipality of Havana, Cuba. The young men are part of Ejercito Juvenil del Trabajo — the Youth Labor Army — that works on a range of domestic projects, from agricultural and construction work to mosquito eradication. This photograph was taken during reporting for Cuba’s New Wave, a multimedia project created by students in the UNC Hussman School of Journalism and Media.
