Carolina Photojournalism Workshop 2017: River Reflections

UNC Hussman School of Journalism and Media students produced “River Reflections” to tell the stories of the people and culture of Elizabeth City, North Carolina, through 17 short films. The Pasoquotank river has provided life and leisure to the people of Elizabeth City for hundreds of years. From the heart of downtown to the winding country roads lined by waving crops, Elizabeth City has seen stories that plumb the depths of triumph, tragedy and the human spirit.

It is the 2017 edition of the annual Carolina Photojournalism Workshop project that was founded in 2004.
