PRSSA Southeast Regional Conference 2016

The PRSSA chapters of UNC and Elon University presented "Diversity in PR: Embracing Culture and Change" as 2016's PRSSA Southeast Regional Conference, held on Feb. 19-20, 2016. The conference focused on the changing landscape of the industry, various areas of public relations interests and public relations in current events.

Featured speakers primarily covered PR issues that women and the LGBTQ community face. Dr. Naeemah Clark from Elon delivered the keynote. Hussman School professors Valerie Fields, Joe Cabosky and Livis Freeman also spoke at the event. Other PR professionals from Elon, and from local PR firms were featured, too.
