Oct. 25: J-school Ambassadors internship fair

Looking for an internship? The J-school Ambassadors will host an internship fair Friday, Oct. 25, from 3-5 p.m. in the Freedom Forum Conference Center on the third floor of Carroll Hall.

The event is for J-school students, by J-school students and will provide students everything they need to know about internships. Attendees will learn how their peers obtained an internship, what activities are completed in internships and internship search advice. Students talking about internships have interned at organizations that include ESPN, MTV, McKinney, NBC and Bloomberg, among others.

Students who attend will have the opportunity to have their resume and online portfolio reviewed as well as gain networking tips from career experts and alumni. Internship tables will be set up by specialization.
