Students report on intersection of energy and politics in N.C.

Students in the UNC Hussman School of Journalism and Media’s "MEJO 491.3: Energy Reporting” class in Fall 2012 produced projects that look at the intersection of North Carolina, energy and politics.

Taught by Reese News Lab’s senior producer and 2009 Hussman School master’s graduate Sara Peach, students explored topics from smart grids to the state legislature’s shift on environmental policy to the future of offshore wind energy, among others.

The projects were designed to be mobile-friends while incorporating different types of multimedia journalism.
