The Hussman School continues its regional networking event series in 2017 with a visit to Washington, D.C.
On Thursday evening, Nov. 2, all D.C.-area alumni are invited to join the Hussman School for an alumni reception featuring the Hussman School's networking trip students — all the way from Chapel Hill! The reception will be held at Hawthorne from 6-8 p.m. Hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar will be provided.
This gathering provides a casual atmosphere where students can continue the networking experience with alumni and friends of the school.
Director of Career Services Jay Eubank and Director of Alumni and Donor Relations Robin Jackson will be the Hussman School administrators in attendance.
While in the city, students on the networking trip will have the opportunity to experience alumni working in their own environments and to converse with them about their careers, living in the Capitol and what it takes to land a similar position. Join the Hussman School in Washington, D.C., for an MJ Day reception on Thursday, Nov. 2 — a day for networking trip students and alumni from in and around the Capitol to come together.
The reception will be held at Hawthorne, located at 1336 U St. NW., Washington, D.C. 20009 — at the corner of 14th and U Street and one block from the U Street/Cardozo/African-American Civil War Memorial Metro.
