UNC Hussman School of Journalism and Media senior lecturer and Carolina Community Media Project director Jock Lauterer will travel to China during summer 2012 as a Fulbright Specialist to help foster community journalism.

UNC Hussman School of Journalism and Media senior Esther S. Lee was named a recipient of the 2012 Carolinas Agency Experience paid summer internships by the 4As Carolinas Council.
Lee, who graduates in May, will intern this summer with McKinney in Durham, N.C.

The UNC Hussman School of Journalism and Media received a grant to provide a digital news service that advances the national conversation around the need for more science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) teachers in America.
