UNC Basketball Graphics

Basketball is a tradition at UNC. Its history, which spans more than 100 years, includes five NCAA tournament championships and legendary players Michael Jordan and James Worthy, to name a few. To celebrate that history and to break down the statistics of the teams, students in Terence Oliver’s "JOMC 484: Infographics” course created these informative visuals.

UNC Hussman student inducted into Phi Beta Kappa

UNC-Chapel Hill’s student body has once again received honors from the nation’s most prestigious academic society. Phi Beta Kappa, the oldest and most honored academic society in America, inducted 162 UNC Chapel Hill students as new members last week. One of this year's inductees comes from the UNC Hussman School of Journalism and Media: Claire Cathleen Maloney ’20, a media and journalism major and a history minor.

Uprooted: Venezuelan families flee to Colombia

Uprooted is a collaborative work by students in "MEJO 584: Documentary Multimedia Storytelling" that documents Venezuelan families who have fled to Medellín, Colombia, to seek better lives. The documentary explores the Venezuelan migrant crisis and its impact on Colombia.
